If you are selling in multiple marketplaces, you may encounter issues linking your Amazon Sponsored Accounts resulting in missing advertising insights data. Unfortunately, this is an issue with Amazon's Advertising API.
Amazon's MWS Tokens are tied to specific regions and to specific accounts. This doesn't apply to PPC tokens. Currently, there is only one PPC token per Amazon seller account and Amazon does not integrate separate regions' or secondary accounts' advertising APIs.
You can fix this issue by creating a secondary/sub-user email and giving it Advertising access. Please note that this process will have to be done for each marketplace. To do this, follow the steps below:
1. Create an email account that will serve as your master PPC email. This will be the sub-user email that will have access to all your PPC accounts.
2. On EACH of your Seller Central account, go to Settings and click on User Permissions.
3. Go to the Add a New User section and fill in the Name and Email Address fields.
4. Then, click on Send Invitation.
5. The sub-user email will receive the invitation with detailed instructions on how to accept access.
6. The sub-user will need to sign in to Amazon Seller Central using the assigned email address.
7. After accepting the invitation, log back into the Amazon account you used to add the sub-user email.
8. The sub-user email will now be under the Current Users. Click on Manage Permissions to give them access to the Campaign Management of that specific account.
9. Scroll down the User Permissions page to the Advertising section. Activate the Campaign Manager access by clicking on the white button.
10. REPEAT STEPS 2 TO 9 FOR EACH OF THE MARKETPLACE YOU ARE SELLING IN.
11. After granting the sub-user email access to all of your Amazon accounts, SIGN OUT of your main account and sign back in using the SUB-USER EMAIL.
12. Now, sign in to your My Seller Pal account.
13. Go to Amazon Settings to link your PPC account.
If you have previously connected your PPC account, you will have to unlink it first.
